Seldovia Small Boat Harbor Renovation Project consisted of demolition and upgrades to the 142 plus vessel harbor infrastructure. Originally designed as a $2.6 million renovation, the project was nearly cancelled due to budget constraints.

By working closely with the City of Seldovia to prioritize and value engineer the project to fit the budget, Jay-Brant was able to complete this $1.5 million project on time and on budget.

Renovations included replacement of wood piling with 72 new galvanized steel piling and pile collars, new ADA approved gangway and gangway float, approach dock modifications, new dry dock timbers and access ladder, and integral tie ins to the main B float dock. Additional floatation was installed beneath floats as needed and new connection hardware installed at all main float connections. The harbor lighting was replaced with new, as well as new shore power pedestals for the boat slips.

Major subcontractors included Hopkins Bros. Construction of Seldovia for pile driving and heavy timber/crane work, and Puffin Electric for electrical work.
